About Us
Behind Every Piece Is a Story. This Is Ours.
Hi, we're John & Jennifer Williams, the husband-and-wife team behind ByJW2.
We wanted to share a little of our story because ByJW2 isn't simply a business to us.
It's personal.
You'll see some of our wedding and family photos throughout this page. We want you to know the people behind the products, because when you trust us to create something representing someone you love, we believe you should know who you're trusting with that memory.
Two Different Journeys. One Story.
Our story together actually began long before ByJW2.
We've been friends for the better part of a decade, each traveling our own road through life while sharing a friendship that would eventually become something much more.
In 2017, John began designing and selling personalized jewelry, creating meaningful pieces that allowed people to carry names, dates, messages, and memories close to them.
Over the years, John's personalized jewelry businesses grew, and he has had the privilege of creating more than 75,000 personalized keepsakes for customers across the country.
Jennifer's journey was different, but beautifully complementary.
As an artist and writer, Jennifer has always had a passion for creativity, storytelling, and turning emotion into something meaningful.
One created through jewelry.
The other created through art and words.
Neither of us knew where those separate paths would eventually lead.
Friends for a Decade. Married in 2025.
After years of friendship, our story took a beautiful turn.
In 2025, we became husband and wife.

Our wedding photographs represent much more to us than a single special day. They remind us of friendship, second chances, love, family, and how precious the people God places in our lives truly are.
Then, in 2026, we brought our backgrounds together—John's years of experience in personalized jewelry and Jennifer's gifts as an artist and writer—and created something new together:
ByJW2.
But that same year, our understanding of memories and keepsakes became more personal than we ever imagined.
When Loss Changes the Meaning of a Memory

Like so many families, we've experienced the heartbreak of losing parents and others we've deeply loved.
Then we experienced a loss no parent ever expects to face—the death of our 27-year-old son Grant (pictured above to the far right next to me).
Grief changes the way you look at things.
A photograph isn't just a photograph anymore.
A handwritten note becomes something you would never consider throwing away.
A voicemail can become priceless.
A name, a date, a favorite saying—even the smallest reminder can suddenly bring back a lifetime of memories.
We learned firsthand that when someone you love is gone, the things that help you remember them can become some of your most treasured possessions.
And that changed the way we looked at what we create.
There's a Person Behind Every Name
When someone orders a memorial ring, bracelet, personalized canvas, or keepsake from ByJW2, we understand there's a story behind it.
There's a person behind that name.
There's a voice you wish you could hear one more time.
There's a hand you wish you could hold again.
There's a photograph that takes you back to a moment you never want to forget.
There's a birthday you'll always remember, a date you'll never forget, and a lifetime of memories represented by just a few engraved words.
We understand because we have those names, photographs, dates, and memories too.
More Than 75,000 Keepsakes — But Yours Isn't Just Another Order
After more than 75,000 personalized keepsakes, it could be easy to see another order number come through and forget what it represents.
We don't want to ever do that.
Because it's not simply an order to you.
When you give us the name or photograph of your husband, wife, mother, father, son, daughter, grandparent, friend, or someone else you love, you're trusting us with a small piece of their story.
We consider that an honor.
We know a ring can never replace the hand you once held.
A bracelet can never replace an embrace.
A canvas can never replace another day together.
And no keepsake can replace someone you love.
But sometimes having something tangible to hold, wear, or display can help keep their memory close.
Love Brought Us Together. Memories Gave ByJW2 Its Purpose.
John brought nearly a decade of personalized jewelry experience.
Jennifer brought her heart for art, writing, and storytelling.
Our friendship brought us together.
Our marriage made us a family.
And our experiences with love, family, and loss gave us an even deeper understanding of why the things we create matter.
That's the heart behind ByJW2.
We're not trying to create ordinary jewelry.
We want to create something that means something.
Something that celebrates a marriage.
Something that remembers a mother or father.
Something that honors a son or daughter.
Something that tells a story.
Something that helps you say:
“You mattered. You were loved. And you will not be forgotten.”
If you've come to ByJW2 because you've lost someone you love, please know that we understand there's a story behind your order.
We've experienced love.
We've experienced loss.
We've treasured the photographs.
We've held onto the memories.
And we'll treat the memories you entrust to us with the same care and respect we'd want someone to give our own.
Thank you for supporting our veteran family-owned business and allowing our family to create something meaningful for yours.
With love and gratitude,
John & Jennifer Williams
